Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated Environmental Marketing Officer to design, validate, and implement sustainable revenue generation strategies that fund our activities, programs, and institutional growth.

Main Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop sustainable revenue streams (services, products, partnerships, educational programs, consulting, etc.).
  • Design value propositions for companies, schools, NGOs, and other partners.
  • Create and execute environmental marketing and positioning strategies.
  • Establish strategic alliances with key stakeholders in Belgium and other parts of Europe.
  • Analyze financial viability and revenue models (pricing, costs, scalability).
  • Measure results (KPIs) and optimize implemented initiatives.
  • Support impact communication to attract funding.

Desired Profile

  • Experience in marketing, environmental business development, or startups (ideally in the environmental or social sector).
  • Knowledge of sustainable revenue models and impact economics.
  • Analytical and strategic skills. Ability to execute and results-oriented.
  • Genuine interest in the environment.
  • Languages: English and Dutch.

The following will be valued:

  • Experience working with NGOs or impact startups.
  • Knowledge of the local ecosystem in Belgium.
  • Experience in fundraising and B2B and B2C sales.

Terms and Conditions:

This position is to join our volunteer team; therefore, it is not a paid position. However, there is the possibility of earning a tax-free project bonus. Our volunteers are expected to commit to working remotely for 2 hours daily, Monday through Friday, with occasional in-person visits for events. The minimum internship duration is 6 months.
