Lecture: Urban Resilience and Green Infrastructure
Summary
Urban resilience, the ability of a city to withstand, recover from, or adapt to disruptions, is significantly enhanced by green infrastructure. Green infrastructure, encompassing natural and semi-natural systems like parks, green roofs, and wetlands, plays a crucial role in addressing urban cha llenges and promoting sustainability. By integrating these elements, cities can improve their capacity to manage climate change impacts, en hance biodiversity, and improve the overall quality of life for residents.
