Webinar | Unwelcome Guests: Understanding and Tackling Invasive Plant Species
May 22nd, 2025, 19:00 (CEST)
Abstract:
Invasive alien plant species (IAPS) are one of the leading threats to global biodiversity, changing ecosystems and outcompeting native flora. This webinar will introduce what makes a plant invasive, how these species spread, and the environmental and societal impacts they cause. Participants will explore illustrative examples and gain practical insights to better understand, recognize, and help prevent plant invasions.
